  • 2010 Australian Nationals Championships
      There are two events for the Ice House this year, the Victorian Open Short Track Speed Skating Championships on 25 and 26 of September and the Australian Open Short Track Speed Skating Championships 1st and 2nd October Full details of the event are  now on the competition registration page in announcement.

    Australian Ice Racing Inc is pleased to announce that membership for your club is now online from the AIR website,  go to LEGAL> select MEMBERSHIP from the drop down list and follow the instructions. Membership is due on the 1st June, please register your membership now.

    Australian Ice Race expresses our congratulationsthe to the New South Wales team for wining the 2010 Duke trophy. We also wish to thank   Queensland Ice Racing association for running the event. “To Provide the Sport of Ice Speed Skating For Everyone” 

Australian Ice Racing is the National Federation for the sport of ice speed skating and short track speed skating. AIR is a member of the International Skating Union, is sponsored by the Australian Sports Commission and affiliated to the Australian Olympic Committee and the Olympic Winter Institute of Australia. 

AIR has 3 State Members: Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria. As the National Federation for the sport of speed skating and short track speed skating, we provide a pathway for athletes to progress from beginner to Elite Athlete and the opportunity to compete on a national level 

AIR support ASADA (Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority) 

and 

WADA (World Anti-Doping Agency) in focusing on Pure Performance for all athletes
