Australian Ice Racing is proud to present the 2026 Australian Short Track Championships, Australia's premier short track speed skating event, to be held at O'Brien Icehouse, Melbourne, from 9th-11th October 2026.
The Championships will bring together the nation's top skaters to compete for Australian Championship titles across all age divisions in three days of fast-paced, exciting racing. Whether you're chasing a national title, aiming for a personal best, or representing your club on the national stage, this event is the pinnacle of the Australian domestic short track season.
International competitors are also welcome to participate, providing a fantastic opportunity to experience Australian competition and compete alongside some of the country's best athletes.
The Championships welcome athletes, coaches, officials, volunteers and supporters from across Australia and overseas for a celebration of short track speed skating in one of the country's premier ice sports venues.
